I am very excited and looking forward to this new learning experience.

My name is Jeff; I am an educator holding the position of Indigenous Education Coordinator in Regina, SK. I am relatively new to the digital world but believe that the digital world is the future of teaching others. I am looking forward to the new learning and sharing my experience with each of you using my blog as a tool. I am currently taking my seventh Master’s course on the road to the Master of Indigenous Education at the University of Regina.

As you explore my blog, I hope that you will learn even more about who I am and my technological journey. I plan to use this blog to inform and share the nêhiyawêwin (cree) language. I also look forward to learning more about you and reading your blogs.

I have very little knowledge and experience with technology, particularly WeVideo; however, over the past couple of weeks, I have become intrigued while listening to podcasts and creating videos along with my wife to supplement learning during this current situation. As I reflect on my excitement and new learnings so far, I think about the major project. I plan to create language videos that educators and students can learn from or enjoy. The nêhiyawêwin language is an essential piece of my identity. I plan to interview various language speakers, creating conversations and tools to teach others the importance of language through technology. Simon Bird is a Cree motivational speaker from Montreal Lake First Nation. He has been very inspirational in keeping the Cree language alive. Thanks for coming along with my technology endeavor. hiy hiy

I am still here when it comes to technology
